thanks for the love

Today I spotted my back to school centerpieces (or variations of them) on a few blogs - thanks for sharing!

I love that she took my idea and made it her own.

I also found some of my other ideas while wasting time on the computer today

Apartment Therapy - umm, hello - how did I not know I had been mentioned on one of my favorite design blogs?

I appreciate all the creativity that is floating about on the world wide web - I love seeing and using ideas from other folks so I am glad that my ideas can be shared with others as well.

Every October I volunteer for a charity table setting luncheon. Last year there were about 55 tables set for 8. My theme was 'Diner en Blanc' based on a yearly, invitation only, dinner for a few thousand in Paris. Any ways, this year I am doing a school theme. I have a lot of ideas but I am still open to new ones. I tend to work best on this in the last month even though I have ideas for themes going all year in my head. Many of the volunteers have money and/or lovely things. I have to push myself creatively which is fun but also is great because it means it can be done by anyone. I will post this years favorites towards the end of October. Martha Stewart also had a wedding with a school theme.
So, thank you so much for inspiration and links.

I send your idea to a friend for her husband's college graduation, his degree was Elementary Education, so the theme was perfect. And he had all kinds of stuff for his class to take home - and teacher guests were offered to take them home as well!! Thanks for the idea! It was perfect! I posted it on my blog :)
